KNSO International Orchestra Academy

  • KNSO International Orchestra Academy

    Korean National Symphony International Orchestra Academy (hereby, "KNSO Academy") aims to nurture essential skills and a cooperative mind as well as provide a professional performing experience to young musicians who dream of becoming orchestra players. The KNSO Academy plans to provide a chance for intimate cultural exchange between domestic and international participants.
    The KNSO Academy offers private instruction (mentoring), lectures, chamber music & orchestra concerts, and special programs for promising classical music players around the world. In 2022, the academy opens to String, Woodwind, and Brass sections.

      Multinational musicians from various fields gather and exchange in one place through the project to connect with future generations from the KNSO International Conducting Competition’ to discover the next-generation conductors and ‘Composer Atelier’ to foster composers.

    • Eligibility

      - Nationality : All nationality (including Korean
      nationals living abroad)
      - Age : Under 34 years (born after 1st January 1987)
      - Education background : Undergraduate or graduate with a Bachelor’s degree
      ※ For enrollment, undergraduate students should be completed 2 academic years or higher.
